It may sound incredible that something as simple as altering your mealtimes could create weight loss without feeling hungry. This easy strategy of meal reversal works because you are working with the in built primitive natural rhythms of your body. Food eaten during the day, especially breakfast, stimulates the metabolic rate and is quickly converted to energy. When the main meal is eaten in the evening when the metabolic rate is decelerating, the food we eat is not required for energy,so it is converted into adipose tissue, and we become FAT. Scientists say fat metabolism works quite differently during the dark hours and is influenced by the growth hormone.
Matthew Steele, a dietician for many of Australias’s most illustrious sport stars, uses this reversal eating strategy for overweight women and men with great success. He made one Australian experiment in which a group of long-term dieters were given just one meal a day of 2000 calories. When the meal was eaten early in the day , they lost weight, but when the same meal was eaten in the evening all the group gained weight.
