Petroleum exists because of death and decay. Death and decay exist because of sin.Continuing to burn gas destroys life. Sin also continues to destroy life.
In the same way that sin drags down and discourages a person’s will to improve so also gas represents an unwillingness to improve. There are better alternatives to gas (such as electricity) that have existed for a long time. Yet we continue to use this archaic technology. Gas pushes a car along by burning and exploding… is this the best energy we can come up with?

In any democracy, including that of the USA, the press will end up choosing the leaders because the media is the vehicle of free expression. The press reflects the voice of the people and they depend on it, in turn, for their advice and information. So it is not so far fetched to say that the media chooses the president because indirectly it does, through its power, expertise and influence.
1. The press, by virtue of the awesome publicity it generates, has the power to make or break a candidate simply by focusing negatively or positively on them at any time. For example, Barack Obama, the young and enthusiastic presidential hopeful, is enjoying a honeymoon period just now where most of his coverage has been positive, while his more experienced opponent, Hillary Clinton, with a known history behind her family, has been having mixed exposure, some of it not so complimentary. But come 2008, when things get really upfront and personal, expect something different. Thus the press has the power to at least keep its choice at the forefront of the debate for the people to consider and to vote for. It often uses this influence unashamedly to change the fortunes of the candidates and that is why they have to take notice of the press and always try to be overly accommodating to get the most favourable or sympathetic coverage.

I believe Barack Obama’s grassroots approach is not only very sincere but also very clever because it falls firmly into line with his own strong beliefs on being more inclusive in policy and the way forward for America. Barack taps into the inspiration of his followers to both lead, and be guided by, them in his bid for the presidency. He has already worked with grassroots in the community when he was younger, and recognise the possibilities of building on the public perception of grassroots ownership in the campaign, particularly to foster a sense of pride within them as part of this dramatic change in American politics. There is no feeling like being there at the start of something exciting, with huge potential, and believing you can also make a difference to its outcome.
As a politician and senator, he has also seen first hand the effects of big public interest bodies on government, especially caused by the huge donations these interests make, and wants to be free from obligations to be his own man when he is elected; to avoid being in the favour of any select group once he is in power. Moreover, Barack Obama is the new guy on the block. He has not had time to build up a political reputation like his rivals in the race and has probably assessed that, if he takes the people with him in grassroots support, he will be in a far more powerful position to claim to represent their aspirations than if he were backed by selected big businesses and interests groups.

I really find it funny (and honestly down right ignorant) that our nations hold onto the idea that we must fight for our freedom. This is the most contradicting belief I have ever come across! Now, I realize that this is a contradiction that I have created (to understand anything I must take responsibility), so lets discuss this….
How do our nations find peace if we are fighting?

I find it funny that one of the oldest concepts in the world has become one of modern society’s biggest irritants. The problem with this is that the concept has been lost behind all the problems created by people who did not fully understand the concept to begin with. Religion is, by far, at the forefront of this list of problems. Government is close behind. So what is the concept we’ve lost? At the risk of sounding “philosophical”, I’ll put it in one word. God.
The concept of God is a simple one. Or at least, it was at one point. God is everything. That’s pretty much the long and short of it. At no point does religion enter into this, this is just a true and utter definition of the word god. Scientifically, it has been proven that all matter, even our own bodies, is made up of energy. All energy, broken down, is inevitably made of the same thing. Studies are currently being done to show that Energy broken down is, in fact, fluid and without separation. The Brookhaven National Laboratory has labelled this energy a “quark-gluon plasma” (for more information visit http://www.post-gazette.com/healthscience/19990614quarksoup1.asp). This simple fact is a clue into the realm of god. God is everything. No religion or faith involved.

Many myths abound about Gandhi, Mohandas Karamchand known as Mahatma “Great Souled” Gandhi (1869-1948).
He was not born to a poor Indian family. His father was dewan (chief minister) of Porbandar, the capital of a small principality in Gujarat in western India under British suzerainty. He later became dewan of Rajkot. He married at the age of 13 and was a mediocre student. In his adolescence he defied his repressive environment by petty thieving, meat eating, smoking, and professed atheism. Until the age of 18 He spoke very little English. His main language was Gujarati.
He wanted to be a medical doctor - more precisely, a surgeon. His family forced his to study law. His first political activity was as a member of the executive committee of the London Vegetarian Society. He went to South Africa because he couldn’t find work in India. He was a poor lawyer, in both senses of the word. He suffered from stage fright. The “Encyclopedia Britannica” describes his first days there:
